| Anti-IF Ab

Anti-Intrinsic Factor Antibody (Anti-IF Ab) is an autoantibody that targets intrinsic factor (IF), a glycoprotein secreted by gastric parietal cells. Intrinsic factor plays a crucial role in the absorption of vitamin B12 (cobalamin). It binds to vitamin B12 to form a complex, enabling its absorption in the terminal ileum.
